We cordially invite you to the 5th Research Meet being organised by the Konark Group of Companies and K..C.College, Churchgate, Mumbai.Background: “The Sajjan Gupta – Konark Memorial Award (SGKMA)” was instituted in 2010 along with a rotating Trophy, for the best research paper in the field of Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Microbiology, Life Science Phytochemicals. This award is instituted in the loving memory of Late Shri. The Sajjan K. Gupta, founder of Konark Group of Companies, who had a vision to encourage research and innovation in young scientists. He firmly believed that the future of any industry lies in research& development in basic sciences. K. C. College founded by Late Principal K.M. Kundnani, celebrates its diamond jubilee this year.

After a great start in 2010 at Mithibai college, followed by Jai Hind college in 2011, Khalsa college in 2012, and S.I.E.S college in 2013 ,we wish the fifth research meet at K.C.College to be a great success once again with an increasing number of participants.This year with the introduction of oral presentations of select research papers more participation is expected at this national level event providing one of the best platforms for budding scientists in the field of Biological sciences. The presentations will be judged by prominent personalities and well known faces of academia and industry. The participants get a good opportunity to showcase their research work. A major attraction of this event is also the high amount of cash prizes at intercollegiate level. The best project will be considered for commercialization.
