Prawin compression : Consist of two involute profile rotars , mounted on parallel shafts, which rotate in opposite direction with an enlongated cylindrical housing closed at end by side plates. As the lobe passes the inlet, it traps a finite volume of air and carries it around the case to the outlet where the air is discharged. The cycle repeat four times with every one complete revolution of the driving shaft. The lobe run with a finite clearance and require no lubrication.

Pressure is not developed inside the blower but by the demand of the system . discharge pressure , therefore, varies to meet the load condition and the system resistance. Volume displaced is almost constant with pressure except for slight increase in slip at the pressure rises. Horse power required is proportional to the differential pressure across the suction and the discharged of the blower.
