The company is headed by Dr. Narendra Yardi, a well known technocrat in the field of Renewable Energy. He graduated from Walchand College of Engineering affiliated to Shivaji University in 1969. After which he worked in Larsen & Tubro Ltd. For two years. But he soon realized that without in-depth knowledge in the engineering field he would not be able to progress much. Hence he enrolled for M.Tech programme with I.I.T., Bombay. He then continued with his search for knowledge with the PhD program at the same institute. He successfully completed his Doctrate in Heat Transfer in 1977. This was the strong foundation for the vast knowledge in solar energy which he acquired over the years. He has been working in this field since 1977 and has developed many innovative solar products. He was the R&D Manager at Jyoti Ltd. ( Solar Division ) and was instrumental in the implementation of various pioneering solar energy projects during the initial period of solar energy development.

In 1985, he decided to part ways with Jyoti Ltd and setup his own company NRG Technologists, which has come a long way from the humble beginnings. He is a well known Expert and Consultant in Solar heating and Solar drying technology and is consulted from time to time by a variety of individuals and even major Institutions like Sardar Patel Renewable Energy Research Institute (SPRERI) for their ongoing solar drying projects.

Dr. Yardi, is often called to take on Guest lectures on various topics of Renewable Energy, because of his long standing experience and technical expertise on the matter. He has been invited to SVIT Engineering college, Vasad; School of Energy & Environmental Studies, Indore to take guest lectures to guide students interested in Renewable energy through his indepth knowledge, long standing experience and technical expertise. Member of Quintennial Review Team (QRT), Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR : 2002-2007 He is a Life member of Solar Energy Society of India He isSecretary and founding member of Renewable Energy Forum , a no profit organisation of scientists and professionals to promote use of Renewable energy. He is anExecutive member of Association of Renewable Energy Devices Manufacturers (ARDEM) of Western India He was a Member of Technical Committee on Solar Energy for International Conference of Renewable Energy in Mauritius in Aug 1999.

Chaitanya Yardi, M.S (Mechanical Engineering), Texas A&M, USA

The company is ably supported by Mr. Chaitanya Yardi, who has completed his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA. He had the opportunity to interact closely with Corporate Giants like Shell and Chevron Texaco and understand the problems faced by them. He took up a challenge of "Design and Development of an autonomous semi-intelligent cleaning device for cleaning underground oil pipelines". The simple yet amazingly compact design proposed by him was greatly appreciated at the headquarters of Chevron Texaco in Houston, Texas.

The design is currently being patented under the names of Chaitanya Yardi and Dr. Reza Langari. He is using the knowledge and exposure he gained in America to make NRG more organized, professional and efficient organization.

He is in charge of all Marketing activities for NRG Technologists Pvt. Ltd.

He is also a member of a elite Triple Nine Society (TNS), which is a high IQ society with membership being offered only to persons qualifying for 99.9 percentile or higher. Something like the more popular Mensa, although membership to mensa is at 98 percentile
