Metallica offer wide range of Pressure sand filters and activated carbon filters Pressure sand filter comprises of pressure vessel in 8MM thick mild steel construction pressure vessel or FRP material with graded filter media supported on layers of pebbles. The filter media is chosen carefully & cleaned, sieved and graded filter sand. A mixture of coarse and fine sand shall be in predetermined proportion facilitates in depth filtration. The pressure sand filter shall be provided with frontal pipe work and rubber diaphragm valves. For frp plant top or side mount multiport valves for easy operation and backwash. In this filtration unit turbidity and suspended solids are removed and give clear water Pressure gauges are provided at both inlet and outlet of the Plant to observe pressure drop across the unit. Activated carbon filter comprises of pressure vessel in mild steel or FRP pressure vessel material with graded filter media supported on layers of pebbles. The filter media is chosen carefully & cleaned, sieved and graded filter sand. With supported of activated carbon provided high iodine value and Isopourus structure for maximum absorption of organic Material like colour and COD. Backwash has to be done at regular intervals, when there is pressure drop across the unit.

Then pass through Reverse Osmosis membrane. This Unit is the heart of the treatment scheme. It will reduce the dissolved salts from the raw water up to the remarkable level. A lot of bacteria are also removed in this process. Treated water from Reverse Osmosis unit will be stored into Storage tank of desired capacity.
