- Manholes & their lids should be locked securely.
- There should be proper sealing of the water tanks near the inlet &outlet pipelines.
- If air exhaust pipes are present, it should be sealed properly & covered with proper meshing.
- You should regularly check the overhead & underground tanks for any kind of leakage, seapage or cracks on the exterior surface.
- The pump room should be clean & dry, it should not be used as a storeroom or dumping room.
- The area around the pump room and water tank should be neat & tidy & also dry. It should be free from any type of garbage.
