Grundfos Enters into Agreement to Acquire Leading Water Technology Company MECO
We, KATS ORGANICS PVT. LTD - introduce ourselves as a leading Indian based organisation, in the field of Water Treatment. With indigenous technology and our very own R&D laboratory, we have been in this field
for several years. We are one of the few manufacturers in India, with exclusive laboratory facilities, to ensure excellent quality. Over the years, we have been successfully treating boilers, cooling towers and chilling plants. We manufacture boiler/cooling tower and chilled water treatment chemicals, and also chemicals for oil field application, besides biocides, fireside treatment chemicals etc., under the brand names of SOFAID, KATSCIDE & EFFICOM.
WATER
Nearly three quarters of the surface of the earth is covered with water. While this is an impressive statistic, it is pale beside the spectacular photographs that have come to us from outer space. They reveal a beautiful blue planet bathed in water, partly hidden by a veil of vapor. Out all of the water on earth, about 97% is blackish or salty ocean water. Glaciers at North and South Pole tie up another 2% of the earth’s freshwater and the remaining 1% is the usable water is stored in the form of snow-covered mountains, rivers, lakes and underground.
Life came into being in this water. As living things became more complex and specialized, they left the sea for the land, taking water with them as the major part of the bodies. On the planet Earth water is life.
One of the advantages we have here on earth is the use of this water, because water is indestructible, the same water is used over and over again. This process of using water over and over again is called hydrological cycle. As water moves from the atmosphere to the ground, in the form of snow, rain or hail, it is used by the earth’s plants, animal life and for drinking. Water is also used in industry, and then through a process called evaporation or transpiration the water goes back up into the atmosphere to be used again.
EVAPORATION is the process of changing moisture or liquid into vapour.
TRANSPRIRATION is the process of removing moisture or waste products from the surface of leaves or plants in the form of water vapour.
Water is one of the oldest of all substances on the planet earth. When the earth was first forming the heat of the earth’s mass was so great that chemical combinations could not exist. Then as the gaseous metals and rock-forming elements cooled and changed from a gas to a liquid and then eventually to a solid, the earth’s temperatures began to drop low enough to condense the steam vapour into water. Water was one of the first compounds to appear as the earth cooled; then it slowly become a great ocean that covered over 70% of the earth’s surface.
The chances are very good that the glass of water you drank this morning was part of that great ocean, formed millions of years ago, for there has been no new water on the planet earth.
