We market our products under the brand name KALBON Activated Carbon. It is manufactured by Kalpaka Chemicals Private Limited which is based in southern Indian port city of Tuticorin, India.
Kalbon activated carbon products are widely used by various industries in gas purification, decaffeination, gold purification, metal extraction, water purification, medicine, sewage treatment, air filters in gas masks and respirators, filters in compressed air, and many other applications.
Kalpaka Industrial Group is a privately owned family business, which had a humble beginning as a coconut oil extractor, coconut charcoal producer, followed by activated carbon manufacturer. Our industrial venture started in the year 1980 as a coconut oil manufacturer and our business has since then steadily grown exponentially in the past quarter century.
About UsSince 1996, Kalpaka Chemicals has ventured into the production of activated carbon from coconut charcoal, coal, and wood charcoal. Gradually we have expanded our product line to produce Granular Activated Carbon (GAC), Powder Activated Carbon (PAC), Acid-Washed Activated Carbon (Kalbon Crystal), Water-Washed Activated Carbon, Impregnated Carbon, etc.
Today, through countless hours of hard work, research, and innovation, we have become one of the leading manufacturer and supplier of activated carbon products to various industries all over the world.
Since 1996, Kalpaka Chemicals has ventured into the production of activated carbon from coconut charcoal, coal, and wood charcoal. ServicesOur annual production capacity is 10,000 Metric Ton and our annual sales turnover is 20 Million US Dollars. Plans are underway to increase the capacity by another 50% before the end of 2015.
We have state of the art system to process acid washed and water washed activated carbon. Our machineries can produce carbon from mesh sizes varying from millimeters to sub-micron range
