Now We expanded our business and commenced the new venture in the name of Gipfel Engineering in the year 2012 at Kaman, Thane near Mumbai. On-site service
GIPFEL engineering offers full seal mounting and repair service for support during shutdowns and normal operation. Our field service team is highly experienced in many branches and equipped to handle the vast majority of on-site repairs, saving our customers both cost and time.
Refurbishment
Due to industrial recession and growing responsibilities of maintenance staff to reduce cost, we follow the concept of reconditioning of Mechanical Seal. By virtue of technical skill, vast experience and honest approach, we are able to win heart of our customers by reconditioning of big Agitator Seals, Cartridge Mechanical Seal, High Pressure Seal, Metal Bellow Seals & other standard Seals by adopting special technology. We have large number of reputed customer satisfied with our services. Reports include photographic evidence, wear or damage data for key components and also the possible failure causes.
We Repair all types of Mechanical Seals
If your pump seals worn out or are In need of repair, we can refurbish them and bring them back to a “like new” condition.
We repair all brands and styles of mechanical seals, during our reconditioning process the mechanical seals are cleaned or sand blasted as required, then inspected for compliance to factory tolerance. If new faces are required the old ones are replaced otherwise they are refinished by lapping to industry standards (2-3 light bands). The seals are then re-assembled using new spring, screws and o-rings.
Lapping
To ensure leakage free Mechanical Seal, its faces should be properly lapped ad polished. We provide extra attention on this aspect as life of a Seal depends greatly on lapping and polishing. We use best grade of lapping compound and oils to ensure better finishing of surfaces. Flatness of faces is checked for 1-2 light bands under Helium Monochromatic Light Source under optical instrument. Lapping is a very critical process, hence wide experience and knowledge is required.
After Sales Services
Our engineers are trained properly to tackle all service problems effectively and promptly. We are committed to attend all service problems of our customers at a short notice and provide necessary spares immediately. Our engineers also provide training to maintenance staff of customer to handle emergencies.
Training
We believe strongly that trained person cause much less problems to the clients as well as vendors. We train our people in workshop & at site to do trouble-shooting. We also train client’s staff by imparting knowledge of Mechanical Seals I the form of personal discussion ad meetings.
