Established in the year 1983 and based in the state of West Bengal, India, the company's market leadership has been earned through relentless investments, a reputation for manufacturing excellence and product innovation and up-gradation of sorts. Under the leadership of Mr.G.D Agarwal , Founder and M.D.

 

The Company got into this habit of adopting CHANGES as per requirement to  meet a better and prosperous future. The manufacturing plant was set up at Unsani, P.S Jagacha, Howrah in the state of West Bengal with the initial installed capacity of 12,500 Tons per annum. Soon the Company acquired the licensee  Bureau of Indian Standard   IS:3989 &  IS:1726 and the company's products were sold under the brand name "HEPCO" and " BPL", thus exhibiting the highest quality standards. Soon, with the passage of time, the Company installed the first centrifugal soil pipe casting machines in Eastern India and was the second Company in India to embark on such a modernization process.

A collaborative research project is going on between School of Automotive Engineering , Jadavpur University and Binay Udyog Pvt.Limted on"Manufacturing of Austempered Grey Cast Iron". The basic objective of this Work is to develop Thin walled Grey Cast Iron castings to make more abrasion resistance with better tensile and impact properties which is most suitable material for Diesel Engine Cylinder Liners. The topic has been approved by UGC Rajib Gandhi National Fellowship Committee, New Delhi.
