Today, on the precious event of inauguration of our website, I would like to thank all our clients, associates, channel partners and especially our very own members of the Bareja Family, i.e. our workforce for their immense support towards the overall success of our organization.
About Us
The journey began in the year 1953 with the inauguration of our own manufacturing unit at Budge Budge, Kolkata. With the thoughtful & generous efforts and contributions of our the then Managing Director and founder of Bareja Pumps Private Limited - Mr. R. R. Bareja toward the remarkable progress of our organization, in the year 1964, Bareja Pumps signed a technical collaboration treaty with the world famous manufacturers of industrial pumps - Ernst Vogel, Austria for manufacturing similar models here in India. Later on Bareja Pump joined hands with many other organizations across the globe and established collaboration treaty with different organizations in Australia, Germany, Italy and Czechoslovakia.
In 1966 hi-tech facilities were developed in the Kolkata Factory. Now factory was equipped with hi-tech machineries to produce tailor made pumps especially for Thermal and Steel Industry that can perform in very hi-temperature. Within quite a short span of time, products of our new factory became a lucrative and relatively low cost substitute for imported pumps for these industries and Bareja Pumps became a well-known name in the field of industrial pumps and there was no looking back...
Our M. D. Mr. R. R. Bareja was selected as the President of the Indian Pump Manufacturers Association during 1977-79. For his remarkable efforts towards the growth of the organization and as well as contribution for the overall development of Indian Industry, he was selected for the prestigious national award - “Udyog Patra” as the “Self Made Industrialist of the year” in 1982.
Finally, with the in-depth functional & technical experience of last 56 years, Bareja Pumps Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata has now become a leading ISO 9000:2008 Certified manufacturer of Industrial Pumps of our country specially known for handling mission critical development projects.
