Rotating Furnace
The general design and construction comprises of an outer chamber rectangular in shape placed horizontally with the opening at front and rear sides provided with single doors, made of thick cold rolled mild steel sheets suitable reinforced with angle iron frame work.The furnaces are insulated with high alumina insulation brick work, followed by and ceramic fibre mat to reduce the radiation heat loss to minimum.The inner chamber will be provided with loading Revolving Disc rotating type and made of thick M.S. Plate. The materials loaded from the front side opening and could be unloaded from the rear side opening.The chamber will be provided with Insulated door swing aside parallel mounting type for easy operation at both e\the ends.Heated by Kanthal A1 wire in the grooves of the inner chamber. Temperature is controlled by digital automatic temperature indicator cum controller working in conjunction with Cr/A1 thermocouple.Application: suitable for batch heat treatment with temperature vs time control.
