Split Type Furnace
The outer body is constructed of Double walled split type Cold Rolled Mild steel, with powder coat finish or stainless steel material. The inner chamber is made of Ceramic mould.The furnace is constructed in two halves and the hinged on one side such as to form a cylindrical furnace when closed. The two halves are held together by toggle clamps. The furnace can be clamped to any existing mechanical test machine for sample heating.The furnace can also be used as a stand alone model in vertical position with suitable sliding platform and clamping arrangement, such that the cylindrical furnace can be separated in two halves for easy loading and unloading of samples.The space between two walls is insulated by Ceramic fibre. The heating is by Kanthal A1 coil wound round the ceramic mould and will be covered with suitable support.A compact control panel with suitable indicators, meters main switch etc., will be provided.Operating temp: 1000 °C.
