This is called BUILD OPERATE OWN and TRANSFER CONTRACT. We shall install the plant at our cost, operate
and maintain over a stipulated contact period; all spares and consumables including resin and membrane
replacement form part of our scope.
At the end of the contract period, the property will be transferred to the customer at a price equivalent to the book
value of the plant. Being immovable property, civil works – unless otherwise specified and mutually agreed – will
form part of customer’s scope. We shall charge the customer on the basis of unit rate of water produced.
