Water efficiency

EcoTec is built on a strong foundation of water and wastewater engineering. Conscious water security measures are incorporated in all projects designed and implemented. Optimizing water consumption and protecting water quality are key objectives in sustainable Homes. Water security ensures proper extraction with investigating hydrogeology, usage planning, treatment, efficient reuse and proper disposal of waste water covering the entire lifecycle of water usage. Ecosan and Urine Diversion dry toilets have been one of EcoTec’s choices for sustainable sanitation.

Indoor environmental quality enhancement

EcoTec in all its projects ensure that Indoor Air Quality does not differ from natural ambient external air quality by reducing usage of volatile organic compounds and other air impurities such as microbial contaminants. Buildings designed by EcoTec rely on a properly designed ventilation system (passively/naturally- or mechanically-powered) to provide adequate ventilation of cleaner air from outdoors or re-circulated, filtered air as well as isolated operations (kitchens, dry cleaners, etc.) from other occupancies.
