The first Aquaguard Water Purifier was launched in the year 1984, it has grown tremendously from its first year production of meager 200 units to present day production of around 260000 units per annum.( financial Year 2000 - 2001 Figures) Aquaguard has become generic name for Water Purifiers in India. It has passed the WHO stringent test for safe drinking water. Electrolux AB Sweden designed the original Aquaguard. However, the product has undergone substantial metamorphosis since the first silver & blue Aquaguard model launched in 1984. Andhra Pradesh Government has recognized Aquamall Hyderabad as "Best Employer" on May Day, 1999 for the consecutive time. The Mysore Harticultural society has awarded the Best Garden and Landscaping industrial prize for three consecutive years from 1999 to 2002 to Aquamall Bangalore
