AMITEX Group began its bright journey Three decades back in the year 1982 under dynamic leadership of our Founder Shri S.M. SABHARWAL. It was a time when all government departments as well as masses in general, were facing acute problem of corrosion and algae formation in using RCC and Steel water tanks.
Being a visionary Shri S.M. SABHARWAL shouldered the responsibility of guiding sales force to popularize LLDPE Plastic water tanks in North India. In the process that lasted 17 long years he became the biggest distributor of Sintex Plastic water tanks and other product range like SMC Tanks, Insulated Prefabs, PVC Interiors, Plastic Doors and Windows for Northern India.
AMITEX Polymers Pvt. Ltd. the flagship company of AMITEX Group was incorporated into companies act in the year 2002. Mr. Amit Sabharwal a doctorate in psychology and Mr. Ashish Sabharwal (MBA) the two brothers had started taking keen interest in groups commercial activities by now. Having core competence in plastic products, both along with the team were seriously considering launching a unique product in plumbing segment of building industry.
About UsAMITEX PPR Pipes & Fittings were launched for the first time in the country in technical collaboration with UPONOR of Poland the world leader in PPRC Technology having annual turnover of EURO 1.2 billion. Within a short span of 2 years AMITEX PPR pipes and fittings became a household name in India and was patronized by leading builders like DLF, UNITECH, ANSALS, OMAXE, GAURSONS and many others.

Company is manufacturing tanks with ISI Mark IS-12701, SWR Pipes & Fittings are also being manufactured with ISI Mark IS-13592. UPVC pipes and fittings are also being manufactured at the same facility.
The group has its integrated manufacturing facility at GREATER NOIDA at UPSIDC Uttar Pradesh, India. It has the latest and the most modern facility in the Industry.
